"There are as many ways to breathe as there are foods to eat, and each way we breathe will affect our bodies in different ways."
This quote from James Nestor's fascinating book, "Breath", reminds us that how we breathe is a central indicator of our overall health. Just as our breath patterns can indicate stress and tension are overtaking us, the converse is also true: a conscious practice of breath cultivation can offer us deeper calm; better digestion; more restful sleep. In short, balance.
As a professional chaplain and spiritual caregiver, I support people to optimize their spiritual and emotional health by helping them access their deepest resources for wholeness and healing. There is no resource more innate to our being, no path to wellness that can start without consideration of the breath. As a certified breath coach, I welcome you to discover how to integrate simple, effective, research-based breathing practices into your life as a means to enhanced well-being.
Please contact me if you're interested in an introductory session. From there, I can take on clients for several weeks of breath coaching, focusing on multiple breathing techniques, (gentle) accountability, assessing progress, and seeing benefits in one's life.
Breath is a building block of life, so let's build together.
