I have experienced many times of stress in my life through work, running my business(es), strained relationships, losses, chronic health issues and more. The one thing these all have in common is chronic stress and how it impacts the body and mind. I have always thought we should be teaching in school at a young age how to overcome the levels of chronic stress and bring balance to our bodies... heart, body and soul. (One of my visions is to work with children of all ages.). While there are many modalities we can choose to lower our stress levels, breathing is one of the most basic techniques that can be incorporated in your life at any level, requiring little skill and can be practiced at any time in any place. You can actually be practicing a balancing technique and no one would even know what you were doing.

I encourage everyone I meet and know to incorporate some form of breathing practice in their lives. Our breathe is something we need for survival of the next moment and our body's autonomic system does it for us automatically. Something most of us tend to take for granted. Being in chronic stress makes our adrenaline flow continuously and over time it can damage our organs and other aspects of our bodies, not to mention our mental and emotional state. By creating a breathing practice and maintaining it on a regular basis, making it a daily habit, you are giving your body the balance it needs to stay in a balanced autonomic nervous system state. You can learn to control when you need to be in a sympathetic state, bring more balance throughout your day and then how to relax your body and mind for a good night's rest by sleeping more sound and rested.

I work with clients in person in Tucson Arizona and by video conferencing anywhere in the world. Within the next year I will be doing some organized event(s) online through video and hopefully in person. I can work with you on an individual basis as well as group settings. I would love the opportunity to show you how something as simple as learning how to breathe can impact your balance.
