Hi! I’m Cheryl, I’ve been a Respiratory Therapist for 23 years. I work in intensive care units with people who are very sick and require a ventilator to survive. Recently I became aware of how spontaneous breathing can impact our autonomic nervous system, putting us in either the ‘fight or flight’ mode or in a relaxed, calm, and lower stress state. I was amazed at just how quickly the nervous system responds to the change in carbon dioxide in our bloodstream.
I am now thrilled to begin coaching clients to use breathing strategies to impact their emotional well being.
