Back in 2008, Benz was first introduced to yoga as a way to alleviate growing office syndrome. From a stiff body and chaotic mind, she slowly grew to appreciate how much yoga has helped her to be stronger physically and mentally, calmer and more balanced. She was inspired to keep going back to the mat.
Her teaching style stems from different practices and learnings that she has accumulated throughout the years: Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Breathwork and Sound Healing. Accessible to students from all ages and all levels, her classes focus on mindful movement, breath and alignment, while creating a safe space for students to explore their inner selves. But more importantly, she encourages her students to enjoy the present moment and just have fun! :)
